Presenting authentic antique, temple-made and consecrated, Thai Buddha amulets and pendants from various Thai temples and monks.

Most Monks and temples traditionally ask for donations from the public in order to renovate their temples or build schools and hospitals for public. Monks normally will make a limited quantity of these amulets to give to donators as a token for their donation as well as good luck for them. Amulets are made of different kinds of materials in the temples by the monks. After moulding, monks will chant the amulets in order to give luck to those who will wear the amulets.

The temples that make these amulets may make several of the same design, but they are all original, all genuine. They should be treated with respect by the wearer. Amulets are worn for protection from enemies and evil, induce good luck and fortune, ward off impotence and enhance fertility, as well as expression of devotion.

Many Thai Buddhists believe that carrying an image of a Buddha or Luang Phor (Thai monk) gives them luck and protection. They will never leave home without it. The use of the Thai amulet is to avert danger, to dispel evil, to protect from disease, misfortune or even accident. It is believed that Thai amulets will help one to gain great wealth, fortune, charm and success while at work or business. These Thai images are usually the image of a Buddha or a Thai monk. It can be cast from metal or carved out from a piece of wood, ivory, or even made of powder of many different mixture of ingredients that are pressed in a mould and baked to form the shapes. Thai Buddha image amulets vary in size.The coins / medalians are made from various metals.
